The 7th Annual Forum of Chinese National Headmasters took place on the weekend of April 24th-26th, 2010, with Education Forum for Asia helping to organize the event along with Qinghua University’s psychology department and the High Level Forum of the National Headmasters. The Beijing Century Mind Education and Technology Company Ltd and International Education Working Committee of the Beijing Yangtze Sci-Tech Poverty Alleviation Foundation also collaborated for the success of the forum.

          The opening ceremony took place on the morning of April 24th in the auditorium of Beijing 101 Middle School. Some of the leaders and specialists present at the opening ceremony included: Mr. Zhang Li, Director of the National Education Development Research Center ,  Mr. Guo Zhenyou, executive vice president of the China Education Society, Mr.Sun Peng, Director of the Beijing Haidian  Education Commission, Ms. Fan Fumin, professor of the Department of Psychology of Tsinghua University, Ms. Guo Han, Principal of Beijing 101 Middle School Principal, Ms. Isabella Liu of Executive Director of the Asia Education Forum and Mr. An Xiangbin, Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee of the High Level Forum of the National Headmasters. In his keynote speech, Mr. Zhang Li elaborated on the National Medium and Long-term Educational Reform and Development Project Summary, which is now in pre-publication.

          The 7th Annual National Headmaster’s Forum had almost 100 principals and schools leaders come and participate in the exchange of ideas as they discussed the Plan for Education going into the future, proper development strategies, ideas concerning internationalization, and many other complex and relevant subjects. The meeting achieved a high level of information exchange and was felt to be a great success by all the participants.
